Career Paths Program
Railinc's Customer Success Center (CSC) can be a launching pad for careers at the company.
About 10 percent of our employees started in CSC and have moved into positions like product development manager, business analyst, software developer and solutions engineer. Others lead specialized product support teams and oversee the transfer of billions of dollars annually among railroads.
You can meet some of them here.
Our Career Paths program can help you keep your career moving. The initiative empowers employees by helping them to identify and develop skill sets they'll need to reach their short-term and long-term career goals.
One Start, Many Paths to Success
Employees in the Career Paths program do a deep dive into their current responsibilities and identify opportunities for lateral moves and promotions that can get them where they want to go. They also work with their manager to create a personalized development plan to guide them along their path.
So what could a Railinc career path look like for someone just starting on our CSC team?
After a year or two at Railinc, a CSC specialist might take on a leadership role on the CSC team or move into a product support specialist position. From there, the employee could become a business analyst. Through their work, our business analysts gain experience and knowledge they can use to increase their visibility and impact at Railinc and in the industry and to grow into a product management role.

Interested in IT? A CSC specialist with the required skills can move into an IT role like systems administrator or work with their manager to identify internal resources they can use to develop their IT skills.
Whatever your professional goals are at Railinc, we have the resources and can provide the support to help you get where you want to go.
